My client is in the online advertising space and they have a job open for a Senior / Lead Linux Systems Administrator / Server Admin /  Engineer in their Orange County headquarters near Irvine California.  The client works with Fortune 500 companies to find a behaviorally and geographically targeted consumer base.  It is an extremely high traffic environment that serves over 1 BILLION adds a month.  There are several positions open for Linux Systems Administrators / Server Admin / Engineers from the Lead to the Senior to the mid level.  If you want to work in a cutting edge high traffic internet environment that pushes hardware performance to its limits look to further.

  They currently have 900+ instances in a partly virtualized environment.  There are two data centers one in Irvine and one on the East Coast with European operations as well.  You will be working with a team of folks supporting managing migrating and engineering.  We need someone with Good CentOS experience, Nagios, kickstart for deploying RPM's, and scripting for automation.  Nice to have's would be the kickstart add-on Manifest experience for puppet deployment and networking experience.  The ideal candidate must have a background supporting very high traffic internet environments, will understand MYSQL clustering replication master/ slave relationship etc. It would also be a nice to have to find someone who has supported the hardware that runs some type of parallel grid based computing solution (not required).  There are two different openings one for a Principal Level and 1 for a mid-level.
