Hello all, I am desperately searching for someone willing to give me a hand in learning the Zend Framework. I have no formal background in programming/computer science, so I'm learning this stuff through on my own. However, I've made tremendous strides, and would love to work in the field ASAP, as well as develop my web site portfolio using best practices.
I'm willing to work for FREE, in exchange for some training. Won't somebody please help? I need a human being that I can talk to, instead of poorly written documentation, forums, etc. |

Hi Xavier,
I'm glad to hear that you're motivated to learn. That's important. As far as learning Zend Framework goes, it might be a good idea to review where you are on the learning curve of web application development, in general. A firm grounding in the fundamentals of object oriented programming and solid experience with underlying languages and environments, on a diversity of practical projects, must be in place. Learning about an extensible class library should be a transitional experience. If it seems challenging and mysterious, you may need to take a step, or two, back. I don't want to discourage you, but it takes time. I'm not in a position to allocate much time to your education, but if you are able to share some details about the projects you've worked on and the technology you're familiar with, it might be easier to illuminate your path forward. If you'd like to contact me, any email to synapp2.org will end up in my inbox. -Richard Edited by Richard on Jul 9, 2010 8:21 AM |
